What is the What- According to Me

Well, the book has a deep story which I really like but it has it's grey spots.I started the book in catch up mode but with time I caught up and like some parts of it. According to me the book is covered with with a lot of negative emotions and topics which disturb me a lot.I feel disgusted for the most part.At times there have been moments that I have had the feeling to stop and suspend the book. This just might be the reality that I'm not aware of.It has been a good book for me but maybe just understanding.I think what I could until the end of the book I would rather look at the positive side the book has which opening my mind in a certain way that allows me to look at the world's sufferings and perceive their story.

NBA All Star Weekend 2013

Right now I'm thinking about the All-Star game. To be more specific--or general depending on how you look at it--the All-Star weekend that is going to be hosted at the home of the Rockets, the Toyota Center.

To be honest, I am getting a too excited. Why? Let me explain.

The way I see it, the NBA is the one professional sport that actually gets the whole concept of an 'all-star' event right.

With the NFL it is all about the best players playing the best players, but that rarely happens and more often than not the guys that do play barely play.

Baseball tries, but too many guys skip it (just like the NFL). I applaud their desire to make it relevant by giving the winner home field advantage. The home run derby is cool, but thanks to the Curse (bats going cold) the real sluggers often don't participate.

Hockey is getting close. I love the way they had a fantasy style draft to choose teams last year. They may be worth watching.

The NBA remembers and puts into practice one thing that no one else does. They keep in mind that the whole thing is for the fans. It's for the fans to see their superstars. It's for the fans to see their favorites all on the court at once. It is for the fans to see the players they want to see do what they do best--

Play ball.

If it was just the game it would not be enough. There is the Rising Stars game, the Shooting Stars competition, the Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Contest, and of course the Dunk Contest.

Pretty much if they do it on the court during a game there is a contest of sorts tailored around show casing it; everything, but fouling and trash talking that is.

The NBA All-Star Weekend gives the fans the players they want to see doing the things that they do best.

What more can you ask for?

Incredible India- अतुल्य भारत

Here are the thumb rules when writing about India for an audience...

Your piece has to start well. Start with "Incredible India".Therefore you first create, with good vocabulary, a nice paragraph on the social inequities in India. Keywords to be used are caste, poverty, illiteracy. Statistics like 80% of India lives on farms or 50% of India is illiterate or 70% of India does not use soap can be very handy. Other than percentages, use population figures. 4,32, 1235 houses do not have more than 12 volts of electricity for 3 days of the week would make a great sentence. Include a few names like Vidharba, Madurai if you want greater impact other than the usual outskirts of Bangalore or Hyderabad or slums of Mumbai. If you want to become particularly rabid at this juncture mention child marriage. A comparison with Pakistan and Bangladesh at this juncture would make great reading especially from a literacy rates standpoint or the great strides those two nations have made. If you have to mention China, mention that they are simply a great nation or that they will overtake India in the next 3 minutes. The next point should be about India's growth in the last few years. Your conclusion has to sound like a warning to all those who read your article. Mention about how people and companies and the government has to take more responsibility for poverty and paint it with a broad brush of "private public partnership to make a significant impact".Never Forget to end by saying Jai Hind!

Letter- Free write

Dear Sherin,

Although it has been only 9 months since I met you. Every moment that I had spent with you is still fresh in my mind.I still remember the days when you were here with me. The days I looked at you and you were already looking at me. The days I would wake up and find a good morning text from you. The days you would secretly sneak up behind me, put your arms around me and told me you loved me. I still miss those days but I miss you even more.I miss you when something really good happens, because you are the one I want to share it with.I miss you when I laugh because I know that you are the one that makes my laughter grow. I miss you all the time, but I miss you most when I lay awake at night and think of all the wonderful times we spent with each other; for those were some of the best times of my life.In the End all I have to say is I miss you a lot.

Your Nephew
Glen

AFC Championship and NFC Championship

Yup the long forgotten UWC NFL Update has come back. The NFL playoffs drawing close to the main event SuperBowl XLVII held in the Mercedes- Benz Stadium in New Orleans, home to the Saints. The are two conferences in the NFL: AFC (American Football Conference) and the NFC (National Football Conference). In the playoffs there are 6 teams competing in a one game elimination round.Currently there are 4 teams in the league,The New England Patriots :), Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons. As you all can see I am Patriots Fan.Their team is led by if not the best one of the best quarterbacks' the leagues has ever seen, Tom Brady. For the match ups in this week, we have the Tom Brady's Patriots hosting Ray Lewis Ravens. The favorites say Pats will be a step in forward of the Ravens.Well that's good news for me and in the NFC we have the 49ers in fronts of the Falcons. In the Super Bowl they will meet the Oakland Faiders (Nickname). That team reaches the Finals every-time! I bet my mentor like that term I gave to those glorified team :D. I just want to jeopardize my English grades! Thanks Keep an eye for an update for the qualifiers for the Super Bowl, Till then Keep on Praying for the Oakland Faiders.

Raiders-Worst Team

Ya that's correct the Oakland Raiders are the worst team in the NFL.My mentor would surely be reading this post and killing me later, so here is what I have to say: They are the worst team and will always be the worst team.Like Mr.Nies said to me one of the stupidest things in the world are the Oakland Raiders. They have recorded the franchise's worst season.According to me they are bound and destined to lose every game.
